CoBay AI Founder Meetup Toronto brought together AI founders, venture-backed startup teams, the lead of AI Collective Toronto, an AI PhD advisor, and local product and technical talent for an evening of networking, founder matching, and startup collaboration.
The meetup attracted multiple AI startup founders whose projects had raised over $1M USD in funding, covering areas such as AI agents, enterprise AI applications, vertical AI solutions, productivity tools, and technical infrastructure. Participants shared their startup journeys, product progress, and insights on market validation, technical implementation, team building, and fundraising.
As a key offline founder-matching experiment for CoBay, the Toronto meetup also led to a real collaboration outcome: participants successfully matched on-site as co-founder partners and launched a working prototype within one week after the event. This demonstrated CoBay's value in helping early-stage founders find the right collaborators and turn ideas into tangible products faster.
